Pregnancy Studio Pilates
A personalised Studio Pilates program is the ideal method of Pilates during pregnancy to enhance pelvic floor and abdominals strength for child birth and beyond. Your Pilates program will be closely monitored and modified to suit your individual needs and stage of pregnancy.
All Studio Pilates programs commence with a private Initial Assessment to discuss and evaluate your health history, special needs and goals. We then progress from the Initial Asessment to a follow on private Introductory Pilates session to teach Pilates basics, introduce your personalised program and the studio equipment. You will then be ready for the Studio Pilates sessions where you will continue to develop expand upon your initial program as you improve. Pregnancy Pilates Mat Class
We offer specialised Pregnancy Pilates Mat classes to which enable you to strengthen Pelvic Floor and abdominals in preparation for the birth of your child in a group environment.
Pregnancy Pilates classes are recommended from early in your pregnancy and can be continued right up until the birth of your baby, providing there are no complications during your pregnancy. For more information on Mat Class session times and fees click here.
Pregnancy Massage
Lauren Kelly is an experienced Remedial Massage and Myotherapist and conducts Pregnancy Massage at the Studio. Pregnancy massage reduces peripheral swelling, soothes the nervous system, helps to
prevent insomnia, muscle cramps and back pain. Regular massage throughout the pregnancy helps to shorten labour time and speed the return to optimal fitness after birth.
